It is celebration time for Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, they have become proud parents of a second child. Mira gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday late evening.
She was admitted at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. Her mother Bela Rajput and other family members, including Shahid’s mother Neelima Azim, shahid’s step-Brother and actor Ishan khatter visited her in the hospital.
Shahid and Mira are also parents to their elder daughter, two-year-old Misha. They tied the knot in 2015 and in a recent interview to Rajeev Masand, Shahid talked about his wife with a lot of love. “I got lucky. I married Mira,” Shahid said. “She’s as normal as it gets. We kind of hit it off and decided to get into an arranged marriage. By God’s grace it’s been wonderful, the last three years, and she’s been a huge part of that for me.”
Shahid Kapoor is recently busy promoting his upcoming film “Batti Gul meter chalu” opposite actress shraddha Kapoor, which is set to hit the screens on September 21. The actor will star in the Hindi remake of Telugu Blockbuster “Arjun Reddy”.
Shahid confessed that he has just got one week off amidst his busy schedule, to celebrate the happiness and spend time with his family.
The couple had disclosed about the pregnancy news through a post in Instagram earlier this year. They posted the picture of Misha with “Big Sister” written in it’s backdrop.
Shahid Kapoor had tied knot with Mira Rajput on July 7, 2015 in Gurgaon and their first child Misha was born on August 26, 2016.
