The Breakfast Ride To A Paradise Close To Mumbai Called Charoti

Food, the word itself sounds so delicious. And there are places that are known for a few amazing or for their specialty dishes. And when this particular place is little far away, all you need to do is wear your jacket, grab your helmet and just go for a spin or also known as a breakfast ride.

Food and a pleasant bike ride has and will always be the best combination ever.

So it was a normal Sunday and everyone was in deep sleep when it started to drizzle. There was no way I was staying back home. How can someone stay at home and just glare at the rain? I m not one of those, so i got up up all set to ride solo to the one and only Hotel Ahura. Located at about 130 kilometers from Mumbai in Charoti, I start my ride at 6 in the morning with the raindrops hitting my face which was amazingly refreshing. I took a quick Chai and Sutta break at Hotel Fountain enjoying the heavenly weather.

I start riding towards Charoti again at a constant speed of 60-70 kmph enjoying the roads feeling the vibrations of the engine, the wind gushing throuh, trust me it was an amazing feeling. On my way i saw many people looking at me like they have seen an alien as was geared up with knee guards, gloves and a leather jacket with an immense biker look. After a while I stopped near Manor on a bridge right before Silent Hill Resort, this place made me skip a beat.

I waited there for a while enjoying the view as the river was flowing beneath the bridge. The rain stopped and then the sky was overcast. With no sign of the sun it was still better as there was wind blowing across my face and it felt astounding. I reached Charoti at about 9:30 am and was hungry as a wolf. I quickly ordered the Ahura Hotel’s famous Kheema Pav. Damn! That was amazing.
