He has a history of controversies in his life whether using an aluminum bat at WACA Perth in 1979 against England in a test match or bowling as an off-spinner even though being a fast bowler. He represented Austrailia in 70 Test matches and 63 ODI’s.
3. Ian Botham
One of the genius that ever played the game of cricket Sir Ian Botham is one of the finest all-rounders that cricket has produced. This former England captain has represented his country in 102 Test matches and took 383 wickets. In his entire career, he never bowled a no-ball. His ODI career was not great as he played only 116 matches and scalped 145 wickets. Also, he made 5200 runs in tests with 14 centuries. He also called by the nickname ‘Beefy’ due to his physique. He is a recipient of knighthood award from Queen Elizabeth for his charity works.
4. Lance Gibbs
Born in the year 1934 Lancelot Richard or Lance Gibbs is one of the greatest players that have created a place for themselves on the biggest platform. 5. Imran Khan
Imran Khan is considered as one of the best fast bowlers that the cricketing world has come across. He is mainly remembered for his stint with Pakistani cricket team that won the 1992 World Cup. His in swings and out swings were so deadly that cricketers used to fear him when he was at his peak. In his entire career, he played 88 Test matches and 175 ODI’s but never bowled a no-ball. In his 88 Test matches, he took 362 wickets and 182 wickets in 175 ODI’s. He made his debut at the age of 18 in 1971 for the Birmingham Series against England.
