Sharmila is an Indian actress from Bollywood. She was born in the year 1944, in Hyderabad. She is also known by the name, Begum Ayesha Sultana, which she took after her marriage with Nawab Pataudi Khan. Sharmila Tagore has acted in many Hindi movies, including, Aradhana, Amar Prem, Mausam, Chupke Chupke, Daag, and much more. She started her acting career with the Bengali movie, Apur Sansar, in 1959.
