Lets just say that you were having a great day, the sun is beaming at you, you love your job and are about to marry the love of your life, or lets just assume a scenario where there is world peace and nothing can go wrong, but you assumed wrong because something did go wrong and you are now having the biggest existential crisis of your life! How would you react to it? No idea? Well don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Here are some ways you can react in an existential crisis. Ready? Let’s roll!
1) Pretend you don’t know whats going on.
This is the best reaction especially if you are the reason or the source behind the crisis. Pretend you don’t know whats going on and have been out of the loop for a while and then you are just suddenly finding yourself in this situation. Always helps.
2) Hide in a tunnel and never come back.
Don’t forget to take all your necessities with you. Because it may or may not take a while for the crisis to settle down.
3) Pretend to faint.
See this woman and you will know why its a good option. You will have everyone at your beck and call and all you have to do is sleep! Kills two birds with a stone right?
4) Scream because its a crisis!
It may not necessarily be a natural disaster. Let’s just say that you lost your job and found your partner cheating with you at the same time and same day, what would you do?
We know! you can go to a cliff and scream all your frustrations out. Trust us its very liberating.
5) Pretend you have amnesia.
Pretending to forget the situation again and again around people will eventually make them forget too! It won’t be long before everyone eventually gives up.
6) Try to act like you are the wise one (even if you are not)
Be wise, people will take you seriously.
7) Take a deep breath and calm everyone down even if you are mentally screaming.
Looking good and calm like Oprah on the outside but you are screaming like Arnav Ghoswami in the inside? No problem! close your eyes, take a deep breath and take charge. May as well even hammer some offenders.
P.S: If you think you are having an extremely bad situation in your life then here is Kejri (who is probably having a much worst crisis than you) to make you feel better:
