Anushka Sharma: 5 Best Movies Of The Kick-Ass Lady

Very few actors and actresses make it to our Bollywood cinema’s most successful artists without the support of any influence from a rich family that already has great power and control in the film industry. Legends Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Today’s like Sushant Singh Rajput and Radhika Apte have made a mark in this industry only and only because of their passion, struggle and hard-work. One such lady who is now one of the most established and sought after actresses today and also grossed as one of the highest-paid actresses with blockbusters like Ae Dil Hai Muskil and Sultan, Anushka Sharma sure has slayed our film industry and proved that she is a kick-ass lady with her versatile acting and her ‘don’t-give-a-f*ck’ attitude. Be it any controversy – even the most disgusting ones – she has always showed the media who is the boss. And we all would do anything to have even half of her wardrobe and dressing sense – she has always been a trend-setter while still being updated about the latest trends.

Produced by Rajkumar Hirani, this film has to best satirical take on science-fiction and aliens from any of the sci-fic bollywood movies produced till date. We bet you must already watched this movie like 10 times. And we were quite surprised by the tom-boyish look that Anushka carried so well with her boy-cut hair. The chemistry between Sushant and Anushka and how well they looked together – also took left us shocked and in awe.

2. Band Baaja Baaraat (2010)

A Yash Raj Films Production, I needn’t even introduce this movie nor Shruti – we all adored with this bubbly, chirpy and colourful Delhi punjabi girl. This was her first film alongside Ranveer Singh in a romantic comedy  and we had already shipped them together at that time.

3. Phillauri (2017)

We were excited for Phillauri for the two reasons. One being that it was a funny satirical take about a ghost’s motives to haunt people and the ghosts antics were not scary but hilarious – a change from the usual Bipasha Basu’s horrendous horror movies. And who played the ghost – our one and only Anushka Sharma. Second reason was this itself that Anushka was playing double roles – that of a human and a ghost! And she even started a trend on challenge – ‘#ShashiWasThere’. Yes, that stories on Anushka’s Instagram wall – weren’t they just plain hilarious and sometimes gave deep messages too.

4. NH10 (2015)

NH10 is the first production of Anushka Sharma and man!, weren’t we impressed and inspired by the strong role she portrays in the movie. Though it was a little dark and violent but it had groped us to our sits to watch till the end. Honor killing is very serious and very few people address in the our country – leave fighting for the poor couple – but times are changing and NH10 and Anushka’s character and the plot of the movie is all about that.

5. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008)

Directed by Aditya Chopra, this film was a blockbusters despite the circumstances and situations Rab ne bana di jodi released under. Anushka became popular with the introverted and kind-natured girl she played in this movie. She ruled our hearts as the beautiful and vivacious Taani. The movie even acclaimed great reviews and critics and won en-number of awards.
