Shopping is really fun but it can drill a hole in your pockets at times. Sale time is the best time to pick up clothes you have always wanted but were too expensive.
Sale is not just a discounted shopping spree, its a war, a war with other women which you have to and need to win to sustain this life. It’s a difficult task to look for perfect clothes, in perfect size, to make it in time to run to the trial room and then deal with the long queues at the billing counter.
Of course like all hardships, you don’t get the fruits easily.
Few things you can relate to, my fellow refugees.
When you see there’s a 50% sale on your favorite brand.
When you hope your size is available.
When you meet someone who is aware of the sale and you know she’s one of your enemies for the day.
When you like a dress but someone else likes it at the same time, you know its time to teach them a lesson.
When your friend cant make it to the sale and you have to fulfill your duty towards the nation to shop for her..
When you look for a particular fancy color and you find exactly what you wanted.
When you find the perfect dress. perfect color but your size just got sold out.
When you and your girls are done shopping and instant party planning starts.
When someone compliments you and you remember the near death situation you had to go through.
But at the end of the day it’s all worth it because you know you look fabulous and that’s all that matters!
