“A woman is like a tea bag- you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water”, these were the wise words quoted by Eleanor Roosevelt when she was asked to describe women. Today TMN takes this opportunity, on 8th March which is marked as ‘International Women’s Day’ to salute all the Sheroines for their contribution which helped make the world brighter. So here are some words of wisdom dedicated to all women:-
1) Don’t let people’s judgement cloud your decisions:
Ladies you are born strong, not only mentally but also physically and hence, you are capable of making your own decisions. Don’t let the society’s opinion of you cloud that. Be strong, be fierce and be independent.
2) Stay classy, sassy and a little bad assy:
‘Strong enough to bear children then get back to business’, is what Beyonce aptly sings to define the power of women. Do we need to say anything more?
3) You are role models to many, live up to that expectation:
You can tell who the strong women are; they are the ones building other women up instead of tearing them down.
4) She needed a hero, so that’s what she became:
Be your own hero girl, you don’t need a man to survive nor will you ever. Priyanka Chopra once said- ‘I don’t need a man for anything except for making babies’. Now that’s true inspiration right there!
5) She’s got that whole purpose driven, warrior princess save the world type vibe:
Do people judge you for being too fierce? Then don’t be sorry. Express yourself the way you want to. Society is judgemental so pour yourself a drink, put some lipstick on and slay them all.
6) Above all be the heroine of your life not the victim- Nora Ephron:
You are strong physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Don’t let anyone tell you anything differently.
